O Death, Where is Thy Sting?

Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints.  Psalm 116:15

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.  Psalm 23:4

"O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?" 1 Corinthians 15:55

I will ransom them from the power of the grave, I will redeem them from death.  Hosea 13:14

Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm; for love is as strong as death . . .
Song of Solomon 8:6

But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope.  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.  1 Thessalonians 4:13,14

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height. nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our LORD.  Romans 8:38,39

For I know that my Redeemer lives and He shall stand at last on the earth; and after my skin is destroyed, this I know, that in my flesh, I shall see God, whom I shall see for myself, and my eyes shall behold and not another.  How my heart yearns within me! Job 19:25-27

For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven.  2 Corinthians 5:1,2

For this is God, our God forever and ever; He will be our guide, even to death.  Psalm 48:14

A good name is better than precious ointment, and the day of death than the day of one's birth.  It is better to go to the house of mourning than to go to the house of feasting.  For that is the end of all men and the living will take it to heart.  Sorrow is better than laughter, for by a sad countenance the heart is made better.  The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning . . .  Ecclesiastes 7:1-4a

He will swallow up death forever, and the LORD God will wipe away tears from all faces; the rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; for the LORD has spoken.
Isaiah 25:8

Behold, I tell you a mystery: we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed  . . . in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet.  For the trumpet  will sound , and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  For this incorruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written:  "Death is swallowed up in victory."  1 Corinthians 15:51-54

And God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes;  there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying; and there shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.  Revelation 21:4

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life.  John 3:16

It's About Time

Then the LORD appointed a set time, saying "Tomorrow the LORD will do this thing in the land."
 Exodus 9:5

Is there not an appointed time to man upon earth? Job 7:1a

Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the LORD, till He comes and rains righteousness on you.  Hosea 10:12

"Take heed, watch and pray, for you do not know when the time is."  Mark 13:33

But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.  Galations 4:4,5

But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their strength in the time of trouble.  Psalm 37:

For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You in a time when You may be found; surely in a flood of great waters, they shall not come near him.  Psalm 32:6

O LORD, be gracious to us; we have waited for You.  Be their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.  Isaiah 33:2

You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for the time to favour her, yes the set time, has come.  Psalm 102:13

Is anything to hard for the LORD?  At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son . . . for Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.  Genesis 18:14, 21:2

But as for me, my prayer is to You, O LORD, in the acceptable time; O LORD in the multitude of  Your mercy, hear me in the truth of Your salvation.  Psalm 69:13

"For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish,  yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?"  Esther 4:14

It is time for You to act, O LORD, for they have regarded Your law as void.  Psalm 119:126

To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven;
a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted;
a time to kill and a time to heal;a time to break down and a time to build up;
a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance;
a time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones;
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing;
a time to gain and a time to lose; a time to keep and a time to throw away;
a time to tear and a time to sew; a time to keep silence and a time to speak;
a time to love and a time to hate; a time of war and a time of peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

He has made everything beautiful in its time.  Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
Ecclesiastes 3:11

In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem:
 "Do not fear; Zion, let not your hands be weak.
The LORD, your God, in your midst, the Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you in His love;
He will rejoice over you with singing.
I will gather those who sorrow over the appointed assembly,
who are among you, to whom its reproach is a burden.
Behold at that time, I will deal with all who afflict you;
 I will save the lame, and gather those who were driven out;
I will appoint them for praise and fame in every land where they were put to shame.
At that time I will bring you back, even at that time I gather you;
for I will give you fame and praise among all the people of the earth,
when I return your captives before your eyes," says the LORD.  Zephaniah 3:16-20

And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.  Romans 13:11

Humble yourselves therefore, under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.  1 Peter 5:6
