The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1
"Arise, Jerusalem! Let your light shine for all the nations to see! For the glory of the LORD is shining upon you. Darkness as black as night will cover all the nations of the earth, but the glory of the LORD will shine over you. All nations will come to see your radiance. Look and see for everyone is coming home! Your sons are coming from distant lands; your little daughters will be carried home. Your eyes will shine, and your hearts will thrill with joy . . ."
Isaiah 60:1-5a (New Living Translation)
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying "I am the light of the world. He who follows me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life." John 8:12
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His
marvelous light . . . 1 Peter 2:9
But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus Christ, His son, cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:7
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16
tonight I was entranced by the light of the moon... had to lay myself down and wonder while I watched... how we might perhaps reflect the Son as beautifully as the moon reflects the sun... if it could be so possible to stop people in their tracks and take their breath away in a way the moon did to me this night! It is only a moon, no light of itself... we are but vessels of clay, no light of our own... but if the Son shines on us, just perhaps people will catch a glimpse of His beauty and glorify Him <3
ReplyDeletethank you for your photos of Light... helps me to see His glory.
Well, it's hard to leave a more beautiful comment than Susan has, so I will just say your photo and her words are perfection.
