a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted;
a time to kill and a time to heal;a time to break down and a time to build up;
a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance;
a time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones;
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing;
a time to gain and a time to lose; a time to keep and a time to throw away;
a time to tear and a time to sew; a time to keep silence and a time to speak;
a time to love and a time to hate; a time of war and a time of peace.

In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem:
"Do not fear; Zion, let not your hands be weak.
The LORD, your God, in your midst, the Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you in His love;
He will rejoice over you with singing.
I will gather those who sorrow over the appointed assembly,
who are among you, to whom its reproach is a burden.
Behold at that time, I will deal with all who afflict you;
I will save the lame, and gather those who were driven out;
I will appoint them for praise and fame in every land where they were put to shame.
At that time I will bring you back, even at that time I gather you;
for I will give you fame and praise among all the people of the earth,
when I return your captives before your eyes," says the LORD. Zephaniah 3:16-20

Just beautiful. Your photos are so gorgeous. And these verses - they came at just the right "time". Thank you.
ReplyDeleteDear Andrea Dawn,
ReplyDeleteI think you must live in Narnia after Aslan defeated the White Witch. I could go around and around my city and not find such beauty. The architecture, the plants, the sea, the streets...all so "movie-set" beautiful. I wonder would you do a series on the unlovely around you? What would that look like?
Anyway, I get so lost in looking at your pictures. The depth of focus, the shadows, the angles. I wonder how you do it: how you see it, how you shoot it.
And then, you add the Scriptures. When you gather them all together around one theme they shout their message, "IN HIS TIME" Ok, ok I will be patient. I will yield. I will rest. It is so clear when He says it over and over across the centuries to many different people.
Thanks for lending me your eyes for just a little bit,
Dawn
Love your photos and how you use them to underline God's words!
ReplyDeleteBreathtaking! Those photos accompanied by Scripture are just amazing. Every time I stop by

It is profitable to return again and again!
I love,"til He comes and rains righteousness on you". And I love all the clocks and "in His Time".
